Jet2 has underlined its long-term commitment to Cyprus by hosting a major “Partnership for Growth” event with key tourism partners in Limassol.

The event, held at the Four Seasons Hotel, brought together more than 200 attendees, including key hotel partners, representatives from local municipalities, Hermes Airports, and the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Tourism, to discuss future partnerships and ways to continue growing the tourism industry in Cyprus.

Hosted by Jet2’s dedicated contracting team and senior figures including Adam Mulroy, Chief Commercial Officer at Jet2 (pictured), David Neill, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Director at Jet2 and Andrea MacConnell, Director of Contracting and Strategic Relationships at Jet2, the event focused on how to continue working in partnership to support sustainable, mutually beneficial growth.

The event was also supported by Jacob Bramley, GM of Airports and Tourism Organisations at Jet2 as well as colleagues from Jet2’s contracting team including Charline Emmot, Area Manager Greece and Cyprus and Georgia Katsounotou, Contracts Manager Cyprus.

Jet2 is the UK’s leading airline and tour operator to Cyprus with 21 routes and 433,000 arriving seats on sale this year. With more 200 colleagues based in Cyprus and so many customers holidaying on the island, Jet2 has calculated that it made an economic contribution of over €400 million to the Cypriot economy in 2025.

Looking ahead, the company will grow again in 2027, increasing capacity by 11% to 480,000 arriving seats. That growth reinforces Jet2’s long-standing commitment to Cyprus, with capacity having trebled since 2017.

The event explored opportunities to continue building strong partnerships, including exploring longer seasons, expanding hotels and villas programmes, and building on recent product developments such as Jet2’s addition of Larnaca City as a new resort, as well as the launch of Jet2Weddings, which is now available in 37 hotels across eight resorts in Cyprus.

Adam Mulroy, Chief Commercial Officer at Jet2 said: “Cyprus is an incredibly important destination for us, and this Partnership for Growth event was a fantastic opportunity to bring together our valued partners and discuss how we can continue building on the strong relationships already in place. As the UK’s number one airline and tour operator to Cyprus, we are very proud of the contribution we make to the Cypriot economy and tourism industry, and everyone came away with real enthusiasm about the shared opportunities ahead of us.”
