Taste testers

The special haggis paella was made by head chef Alberto Juarez Castillo and combined haggis with paella rice, chopped tomatoes, peppers and onions, plus saffron and seasoning.

The paella was taste tested by Glasgow team members Lesley-Ann Ferguson, Andrew Marshall and Paul O’Hara.  Lesley said:  “I thought haggis and paella was a bit of an unusual combination but when I had some it tasted great – the mild spices in the haggis really complemented the flavours in the paella. I think it’s a fantastic way to mark the launch of the new flights from Glasgow and we hope plenty of Glaswegians will soon have the opportunity to enjoy their very own taste of Spain!”
