Today marks the official launch of our biggest ever summer flights and holidays programme from Manchester Airport, with over 2.2 million seats, the addition of an Airbus A330, and a BRAND NEW destination in the cultural Italian city of Verona for Summer 18.

We are continuing to grow at our biggest base, with more flights and holidays to a whopping 42 summer beach and city destinations, including two flights every week to Verona.

As a result of this growth, Summer 18 will see over 90,000 extra seats on sale from Manchester Airport. The destinations include:

  • Costa de Almeria and Halkidiki – recently introduced for Summer 17, both hotspots are already seeing expansion, with an extra flight taking the number of weekly services to three
  • Fuerteventura and Zante – both served by a fourth weekly flight
  • Kos and Kefalonia – up to three weekly services for Summer 18
  • Faro – huge popularity means two services every day
  • Cyprus – additional weekly flight mean six services every week to Paphos
  • Reus – more flights mean five services every week to the Costa Dorada
  • Rome – more seats on Mondays and Fridays, ideal for weekend breaks

This increased capacity will be supported by the addition of a 327-seat Airbus A330 for Summer 18. The widebody aircraft will operate to the most popular hotspots from Manchester Airport, including Majorca, Tenerife, Lanzarote and Rhodes.

Steve Heapy, CEO of and Jet2holidays said: “This will be our biggest summer programme yet from Manchester Airport, with more seats and hotels than ever through our award-winning airline and holiday operator. On top of that, the addition of an Airbus A330 means we have more seats to our best-selling destinations, giving holidaymakers more choice than ever. Such sustained growth is only possible by looking after our customers, which shows that our continued investment into offering great value package holidays and family friendly flights is working. By continuing to grow across all of our bases, including established ones such as Manchester, this proves that our formula is the right one.”
