Simple Minds – Paris

Zenith de Paris / November 20, 2015

You shouldn’t need an excuse to visit Paris at Christmas, though if a £120pp saving isn’t enough, then seeing Jim Kerr and Simple Minds at the Zenith de Paris - close to the Canal de l'Ourcq - is certainly one of them. Despite being one of the largest venues in the city, “Le Zénith” as it’s known by locals manages to maintain an intimacy thanks to its auditorium style design.

Glaswegians Simple Minds remain a true force in the live music world and fans should expect to hear as combination of tracks from 2014’s well received album Big Music and classics like Don’t You (Forget About Me) and Alive & Kicking.

Midlands post-punk rockers Editors have sold over two million albums worldwide since crashing onto the British music scene with their critically acclaimed debut The Back Room some 10 years ago.

Catch up with the band in the Hungarian capital.
