Spreading our wings for Summer 18 from London Stansted and Birmingham

We are delighted to announce a massively expanded summer flights and holidays programmes from our two newest bases, London Stansted and Birmingham, for Summer 18. After a flying start we are announcing a whopping 18 BRAND NEW DESTINATIONS, TWO MILLION SEATS AND THREE BRAND NEW AIRCRAFT across the two bases.

Just weeks after we launched our first flights and holidays from London Stansted, we are increasing capacity by 33% for Summer 18 - adding 300,000 extra seats (taking us to over ONE MILLION seats) and 5 brand new summer sun destinations, meaning we will operate to a total of 30 destinations in Summer 18.

The new destinations from London Stansted are: Halkidiki, Bodrum, Costa de Almeria, Kefalonia and Verona.

Two additional Boeing 737-800 aircraft will come into operation at London Stansted Airport to support this expanded summer programme, taking the number of aircraft at our new base to eight.

This pattern of growth is replicated at Birmingham Airport, where we are increasing capacity by 53%. For Summer 18 we will be adding 13 BRAND NEW destinations including exclusive Halkidiki, an extra 300,000 seats (taking us to 900,000 seats in total), and two brand new Boeing 737-800 aircraft to our operation at Birmingham Airport. 

The 13 new summer hotspots are Antalya, Costa de Almeria, Larnaca (Cyprus), Kos, Krakow, Halkidiki (exclusive), Madeira, Malta, Naples, Prague, Rome, Split, Zante meaning we will operate to a total of 28 destinations in Summer 18.

Birmingham Airport

  • 28 destinations including a HUGE 13 new summer hotspots: Antalya, Costa de Almeria, Larnaca (Cyprus), Kos, Krakow, Halkidiki (exclusive), Madeira, Malta, Naples, Prague, Rome, Split, Zante
  • Almost 200 weekly flights and 900,000 seats available, a 53% growth on summer 17
  • Addition of two brand new Boeing 737-800 aircraft meaning six aircraft operating from Birmingham Airport
  • Increased capacity in Summer 18 to popular sun destinations including Malaga, Alicante, Ibiza, Reus, Majorca and Menorca.

London Stansted

  • 30 destinations including 5 new summer hotspots: Bodrum, Costa de Almeria, Halkidiki, Kefalonia and Verona
  • Over 200 weekly flights and more than one million seats available, a 33% growth on summer 17
  • Addition of two Boeing 737-800 aircraft meaning eight aircraft operating from London Stansted Airport
  • Significant capacity increases and longer seasons in Summer 18 to a number of popular sun and city destinations including:
  • Canary Islands – now daily services to Tenerife and three services every week to Fuerteventura
  • Alicante – now 12 services every week, making this the company’s biggest destination from London Stansted with over 120,000 seats on sale
  • Balearics – now 12 services every week to Majorca and five services every week to Menorca
  • Greece – flights to seven Greek destinations (Corfu, Kefalonia, Crete, Kos, Rhodes, Halkidiki and Zante) is more than any other airline from London Stansted
  • Turkey – doubling of capacity to Dalaman and Antalya
  • Cyprus – now four weekly services to both Larnaca and Paphos
  • Croatia – increased capacity through extended seasons to Split and Dubrovnik
