Archive and Jet2CityBreaks add more flights and city breaks to Rome for Six Nations

May 18, 2021 at 09:19 and Jet2CityBreaks have added more flights and city breaks to Rome in Italy in February and March 2022, in response to strong demand from rugby fans looking to head to the Italian city to watch the Six Nations Championship.  

After a year of being unable to watch live sport, the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest operator of European city breaks, has stepped in to meet demand from rugby enthusiasts looking to see England and Scotland play in the tournament, by adding extra services and city breaks from BirminghamManchester and Glasgow Airports. The additional flights and city breaks to Rome are perfectly timed for those looking to watch England vs Italy on 13th February 2022, and Scotland vs Italy on 12th March 2022 at the Stadio Olimpico. 

The new services added for the Six Nations Championship are as follows: 

  • Birmingham - extra services added on Friday 11th and returning on Monday 14th February 2022.  
  • Glasgow – extra services added on Friday 11th and returning on Monday 14th March 2022. 
  • Manchester – more services to Rome on Friday 11th and returning on Monday 14th February. 

The addition of the new services and city break packages means that and Jet2CityBreaks will operate two daily flights into Fiumicino Airport in Rome on these dates in February and March from Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester Airports. This gives fans even more opportunity to enjoy award-winning flights with and city breaks to the Italian city with Jet2CityBreaks and see the rugby matches unfold.
