Feeling the Love Island Effect

The popularity of Love Island, and the impact of our brand partnership with the TV show, has helped us bask in the Love Island effect this summer.

Since we announced the partnership in early June, we have been helping viewers get closer to the show, by giving away money-can’t-buy tickets to the Love Island Live final - as well as holidays for two to Majorca with Jet2holidays.

We have also been targeting young adults and millennials through commercial competitions, TV and digital advertising, social media, and a dedicated microsite hosting exclusive content. Our slogan ‘Love the Summer Vibe with Jet2holidays and Love Island’ has really struck a chord with the audience too.

Britons fell in love with Love Island this summer, and they certainly fell in love with Majorca too. We have seen a spike in searches and bookings for Majorca holidays in Summer 18, Summer 19, and Winter 18/19 as a result.
