Europe’s Hottest Carnival Returns to Tenerife

Between 15 February 2011 and 13 March 2011 Tenerife will once again be the stage for a carnival described as “Europe’s hottest.” The annual event will return next year crammed packed with events from live music to street parties.

Tenerife’s year round climate means that there is no danger of the rain spoiling the agenda that spreads throughout almost a whole month. Two dates to make a note of in particular are 2 March 2011 when the queen of the carnival is announced to much fanfare and excitement and 4 March 2011 when the street parades open.
