If you’ve ever tried researching where to go on holiday, it can be quite a challenge! Recommendations from friends and family, reading through all the brochures and reviews online... so many places to explore and so little time!

Fear not, our and Jet2CityBreaks Product Team are here to help, with the invaluable insight you’d expect from a team working so closely with each and every one of our holiday choices. This is just a small selection of some of the undiscovered European gems and hot spots you could be visiting in 2017…

Zadar (Croatia) is quirky and unique with its historic old town featuring Roman ruins, historical churches, boutique cafes and museums, all set on a charming peninsula. Also, the sound and light spectacle of the surreal Sea Organ should not be missed!

Berlin (Germany) is a city for all seasons! In winter you’ll find 60 different Christmas markets, and its fascinating history and museums are perfect to explore either early or late in the year. In summer, you can take a stroll through one of the 2,500 public parks, along the river, or visit the zoo! It’s well known for its vibrant food scene, plus it also recently featured in Rick Stein's Long Weekends BBC series.

Vilamoura (The Algarve) thirves with sophistication. The marina is a hub to gaze on luxury yachts and has plenty of bars, perfect for a cocktail or two. The Purobeach Beach Club is an oasis for party-goers at night, but the beach close by is relaxing through the day.

Polis and Latchi (Cyprus) are both unspoilt and rugged. Two villages sitting side-by-side along the stunning Cypriate north west coast, they boast traditional village squares, a harbour lined with tavernas selling fresh fish, and the Akamas Peninsula National Park on the doorstep; perfect for nature lovers as well as miles of untouched shingle beaches.

Halkidiki (Northern Greece) is known as the “three-fingered peninsula”. It’s considered to be the hidden gem of Greece, featuring white sandy beaches, dense pine forests and authentic attractions. The resort oozes a natural kind of “untouched beauty”.

So, if you’ve not started looking for your next holiday or city break yet, why not consider these recommendations from “the team in the know”. Take a look at our Summer and Winter brochures here -
